We will donate 33% of the profits from Interactive Bible Journeys to Global Care, supporting the charity’s work with vulnerable children.

Hope for vulnerable children

Global Care is an international Christian children’s charity based in Coventry. It supports children facing extreme poverty and exclusion, helping them access education and practical care so they can build a better future.

Education that opens doors

Education is central to Global Care’s approach. Alongside learning, its projects help meet needs such as food, clothing, shelter and medicine. This practical support helps children reach school, stay in education and develop the skills to support themselves and their families.

Reaching children facing the greatest barriers

The charity focuses on children whose circumstances make them especially vulnerable. These include children affected by disability, chronic illness, discrimination, trauma, conflict or abandonment, and girls denied opportunities because of their gender.

For example, its work includes helping children with disabilities access education in Uganda, supporting children excluded from schooling in India, and helping children affected by conflict in South Sudan and Syria.

Working with local communities

Global Care works alongside local people who are already caring for their communities. These partners understand the children’s needs and help shape projects that fit their own setting. The aim is lasting change led by the community itself.

Christian faith expressed through care

Global Care began in 1983 after founder Ron Newby witnessed poverty in Uganda. His Christian faith motivated him to act, and that faith continues to inspire the charity’s work. It supports vulnerable children regardless of their faith or ethnicity.

Ways to make a difference

Supporters can sponsor a child, give regularly to a project through the Change-Maker programme, or donate to the Children At Risk fund, which helps respond to crises and start new initiatives. Prayer, fundraising and volunteering also support the charity’s work.

Sponsor a child

Through Global Care, you can sponsor a child for £28 per month. Sponsorship helps a vulnerable child access education, school clothing and learning materials, with local welfare and medical support.

Sponsors receive two letters each year, an annual progress report and an updated photograph. You can also write to your sponsored child.
